Registration

General

All attendees must register and receive a conference badge in order to participate in conference activities.  All presentations will be presented live (in-person) at WIRMS2026.

After registration, participants from countries that require visas may request support letters. Please see the Visa Information page for more details.

Registration Fees and Payment Deadlines 

The registration fee is based on the date of registration and payment. Registration by May 29 has the lowest fee.

Registration Fee Includes:

• Breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to the program

• Welcome Reception on Sunday, September 27

• Bonfire / Smores on Wednesday, September 29

• Access to technical sessions, poster sessions, plenary talks

• Coffee breaks

Optional Fees 

• Whale Watching Boat Tour, September 29 $125

• Conference Dinner, September 30 $50

• Transportation to Berkeley Lab for ALS Tour, October 1 $50

Accompanying person fee 

• Adults  and Youths (3+): $450

• Infants (0-2): $0

The accompanying person fee is for guests accompanying a registered conference attendee staying at the Asilomar Hotel and Conference grounds.  The fee includes:

• Breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to the program  

• Welcome Reception on Sunday, September 27

• Bonfire / Smores on Wednesday, September 29

Payment and confirmation

Full payment of the registration fee is to be made prior to the conference in US dollars (US $). When registering online, you will receive instant confirmation of successful registration to your email.
