Join us for a tour of the ALS and IR beamlines, as well as world-class views of the Bay Area.  The trip from Monterey to Berkeley is a 2.5 - 3 hour drive depending on traffic.

Visitors will need to be preregistered for the tour at least two months in advance in order to obtain site access.

For conference attendees with their own transportation, parking passes to Berkeley Lab will be arranged.

Fee: $50
For conference attendees requiring transportation, a bus will be arranged to transport conference attendees (and their luggage) from Monterey to Berkeley.  After the tour (~6pm), attendees will be transported to downtown Berkeley, where they can enjoy the local cuisine, take BART to one of the Bay Area airports, or visit other Bay Area locations.
